Back when I was working a part time job as a waitress, an older and wiser coworker asked me what I wanted to do with my life. The first thing I thought of was to plan parties and events. I'm not sure what made me choose it, but I'm glad I did! Because immediately, he thought of a friend that he knew from college and connected us right away. This friend from college gave me the opportunity to see what this industry was all about. I started off assisting her, and eventually I was taught well enough to take on an entire wedding by myself! I will forever be grateful to this coworker and his friend from college because without these two people, I wouldn't be here today.
